Balpakram National Park is located in Indian state Meghalaya. Its located south of the Garo Hill range. Balpakram means ‘land of the eternal wind’ in Garo dialect. This national park is part of Garo Hills Conservation Area (GHCA), which is inscribed inĀ UNESCO World Heritage tentative list.

The sanctuary was designated in 1986.
Best time of visit is from October to April.
